Baked Butternut Squash Fries

1 butternut squash

2 tablespoons (30 ml) of virgin camelina oil Signé Caméline

1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) of paprika

1 tablespoon (15 ml)of cornmeal # 250

Salt and pepper

Spicy mayonnaise (to taste)

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. With a knife, remove the skin from the squash. Cut the squash in half lengthwise and remove the seeds with a spoon.
  3. Cut the squash into sticks (fries) and place them in a bowl with all the other ingredients.
  4. Place the fries on a baking sheet and bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until the fries begin to caramelize. Make sure to turn the fries halfway through cooking. 

Serve with spicy mayonnaise
